API Archiveus does not scrape data. It collects it though public XML feeds and XML files. That is not scraping.

You may look up the following terms to learn how to ask what this can be used for:
API
JSON
HAL (Hyptertext Application Language)

The Archive does not store data in a relational way. API Archiveus does. By applying a common API query language to The Archive data it will be possible to structure a search engine capable of really querying the data The Archive claims to search.

Sounds interesting, but I'm not really clear on what it offers that the existing ../advancedsearch.php?q=blah&output=json interface doesn't. This might be exactly what I've been looking for, for my little app. But I can't quite tell.

If it's just a more consistent language, then my app may already be past the point of needing it, but if it offers ways to easily find things I can't otherwise, then I might be very interested.

(My app is hosted at https://github.com/xtifr/llamabrowser if it helps.)
